Live YOUR life!

(Photo taken in Thousand Oaks, California last year on one of my favorite runs)

There are weeks where I can easily put in 50-60 hours of work in. When I log off the computer, I have my beautiful daughter to care for (with a lot of help), a house to clean, a pet to feed, grass to mow, and so on. Like so many, it is easy to get stuck in a rut. We begin to complain daily of how tired we are, how nothing gets done, how  we constantly  find ourselves always doing for others, but not for ourselves.

Then the realization.

ONLY I CAN CHANGE THIS.

I am responsible for me, my happiness. These past couple of years, I began to LIVE MY LIFE differently. I traveled more, I smiled more, I laughed more, and began to enjoy all the little things. Lets face it, we deserve nothing but the BEST. I also have this beautiful daughter and I want her to see that life can be full of AMAZING ADVENTURES. I want her to see the JOY that family and friendships can bring into her life. Some people say, “I wish for my daughter/son to see the world.” But hey…I want to do it with her! This is OUR time.
